Finding a SCORM Object Using the Advanced Search

1. Click Resources in the Tutela main menu.

2. In the search bar, click on All categories.

3. In the drop-down menu, click on the SCORM Resources option.

4. Enter keyword(s) in the search bar.

Note: These keywords can be a subject of interest, a title of a resource or a type of resource.

5. Click on the search button to view the results.

Note: A listing of SCORM objects appears (if there are any that match the search term).

6. Refine the results by selecting Filters.

7. Choose a Theme from the All Themes drop-down menu.

In this example, the theme Health and Safety is selected. There are 6 related SCORMs.

8. To refine this search further, select a CLB level from the All CLB Levels drop-down menu.

In this example, CLB 04 was selected. The search results in 2 SCORM resources.

9. To refine the search further, choose a Skill.

In this example, Listening was chosen from the drop-down menu. There results show only one available resource.

10. Click on the Show only drop-down menu and choose an option.

In this example, PBLA-related resources were selected. The search yielded 0 results.

Note: PBLA related resources are those where the contributor has checked the PBLA box when submitting. These are older resources submitted before the PBLA checklist became available. Resources categorized as Confirmed as PBLA aligned, are those where the contributor has gone through the PBLA checklist and have met the criteria. Resources reviewed by the Centre for Canadian Language Benchmarks are also in this category.
