There are two main ways to get around a course:

  • Navigation Drawer

  • Breadcrumb links

Navigation Drawer

The Navigation Drawer gives links to course content and other areas of the site.

1. Click on the three dots (vertical ellipsis) at the top left of your course to open the Navigation Drawer.

The Navigation Drawer opens.

Your current location is highlighted. You can go to only two places: your Dashboard or a Unit in your course.

2. Click on one of the links to move to that page.

Here, we will choose a unit.

To make more room on your screen, click on the vertical ellipsis to close it.

Breadcrumb Menu

The Breadcrumb Menu gives you quick links to show where you are in the course. It is like a map.

Every time that you click on a link in your course, a new breadcrumb is added to the Breadcrumb Menu.

This shows that you are on the course home page for LINC 4 (BD).

This shows that you are on the Canada (LINC 4) unit page of the LINC 4 (BD) course.

This shows that you are on the Government Poll activity on the Canada (LINC 4) unit, on the LINC 4 (BD) course.

Click on the link in the Breadcrumb Menu to return to the unit page or course home page.
