Online Users Block

The Online users block shows which users are currently logged into the course. This can be an invaluable way to contact learners when you see them, or for learners to contact you or other learners when they are online as well.

In this example, we can see that there are three users logged into the course. Beverly Davison, the instructor, is indicated by the eye icon. Two learners are also currently online in the course. To send a message to either of these learners in real time, Ms. Davison can click on the chat icon.
