All modules and eUnits to be added to the Avenue eUnit Catalogue require metadata. This metadata is used to make it easier for teachers to browse and search for eUnits and modules for their courses. When searching or browsing the eUnit Catalogue, Avenue users will view cards with some metadata for each eUnit as shown here.

Each card shows its theme (at the top of a card), a photo that complements the topic, followed by the eUnit topic/name, the target CLB level, other CLB levels it can be used with, and the name of the organization that developed it.

After clicking on the View details button (i) at the bottom of an eUnit/module card, detailed information about this resource is displayed, for example:

The details screen provides information in the Description and Outcomes section and Contains sections, in addition to the data in the course cards.

Note: The other buttons at the bottom of an eUnit/module card are used to add the resource to the Course Builder request list or to open a preview panel and view the eUnit/module contents.
Before eUnits or modules can be uploaded to the eUnit catalogue, developers need to provide the metadata information for the View Details panel to the NLS team. This can be provided directly in Avenue. In addition to the metadata, a photo that complements the topic (with no licensing issues when posted on Avenue) is needed.
