Tutela is an Opened and Closed repository and community. This means that it is closed to the outside world but open to all of its members that join. To participate and use Tutela, you need to create an account through the registration page.


The account is free to create once you complete the process. The Tutela team will verify the information and approve the account. This approval process typically takes around 24 hours.

Access the Registration Page

There are two ways to access the Tutela website.


Click on the tutela link on Avenue.ca to go to the Tutela website.



Or use your web browser to go to https://tutela.ca/ directly.



1. Click the Register button near the top right corner.


2. Answer the question prompts for Step 1 of the registration process. Read the information and fill in the fields for Step 2.


3. Enter your Province. 

Note: Only Canadian ESL/FSL professionals are currently accepted into Tutela. 

Enter information about your work and job position. This information will help other members of Tutela network with you.


4. Click on the Next Step button to continue.


 

Fill Out the Mandatory Information

1. Enter your First Name and Last Name.



2. Enter your e‐mail. You can use either a work or personal email account.



3. Enter a username. 

Note: This is the username you will use when you log in to Tutela.



4. Enter your password and confirm it by entering it again below. The form will let you know if your password doesn’t match.


 

Terms of Use Agreement

1. Check the box to agree with the Tutela Terms of Use Agreement.


 

Finalize the Registration

1. Click on the Register button found at the bottom of the form.



If you have any errors in the form, Tutela will let you know so that you can make the proper adjustments.

Note: Once your registration is complete and your account is created, you can choose whether to log in with your Avenue or Tutela credentials.
