Adding a New Question Bank Category

1. On your course, click on the More link.

2. Click on the Question bank option.


4. In the drop-down menu, choose Categories.

Note: The Edit categories screen appears.
5. Click on the Add category button.

6. In the Add a category pop up, choose a Parent category or set to Top.
Note: A parent category is the a category that the new category will be in. Top makes the new category a category with that has no parent category.
7. Choose a "Top"or Parent category for the new category.
8. Type a descriptive name in the Name text box.
Note: Naming is very important for large question banks. We recommend consistent naming with level, , skill and topic structure.
Examples:
- CLB4 Reading Banking
- CLB1 Vocabulary Employment
- Intro Grammar - Past Tense
9. Enter Category information if required.This may make it easier to re-use these questions in the future.

10. Click the Add category button to complete the process.
Note: The new category appears in the category list. it is a child of the parent "Top for New Neighbourhood issues". There are two questions in this category as indicated by (2).
