There are two main ways to get around a course:

  • Course index
  • Breadcrumb links

Course index

The Course index gives links to course content and other areas of the site.

  1. Open the Course index by clicking on the tab in the upper left hand corner.
The Course index opens.
Your current location is highlighted.
You can use the Course index to move between sections and activities in your course.
You may also expand and collapse the topics within the Course index either all together or one topic or section at a time.
Click on the ˅ to the left of the topic name to Collapse the topic and the > to Expand the topic.

Click on the three dots to open the Expand and Collapse all menu and select the desired state.

To close the  Course index drawer click on the x

Breadcrumb Menu

The Breadcrumb Menu gives you quick links to show where you are in the course. It is like a map.

Every time that you click on a link in your course, a new breadcrumb is added to the Breadcrumb Menu.

This shows that you are on the course home page.

This shows that you are on a unit page in the course.

This shows that you are on an activity page within a unit.

Click on a link in the Breadcrumb Menu to return to the unit page or course home page.
