Edit Your Profile

You will need to edit your profile account on Avenue to make it complete.

Accessing your Profile

1. Locate your Profile picture at the top of the site page.
2. Click on the picture or the dropdown arrow to the right of your picture.
3. Click the word Profile in the menu that appears.

Your profile page appears. Notice that the page is divided into different boxed sections.

1. Locate the User details section. This can be found near the top on the left side of the page.
2. Click the Edit profile link.

Edit your Profile

The General section of your profile has information about you. Your name and email address are already there, and you cannot edit that information. Contact your teacher if that information is incorrect.

There are two items to update in the General section: City/town and Timezone.

1. Click inside the box next to City/town, and type the name of your city or town.
2. Click the box next to Timezone, and then scroll up or down to find your timezone.
   Time zones are listed by Continent name, so look for America followed by the nearest city to where you live.
   Ask your teacher if you can’t find your city.
3. If you want, you can also enter a Description. Click inside the box next to Description and type some information to share about yourself.

The next section is User picture. You do not need to add a picture to your profile.

Courseware Level

Below the User Profile section, you will find more sections.

1. Click on the Courseware Level section.

Courseware level options appear.

1. Locate your learning level.
2. Click inside the box next to your learning level.
3. Click the Update profile button.
