The Participants page can be used to view course participants, their email addresses, when they last accessed the course, and to send Moodle messages to individuals or multiple recipients. The Participants page can also be used to quickly access various reports on individual learners, including the Complete report which provides detailed information about individual activities or exercises in SCORM objects. (The gradebook provides only an average of these activities.)

A link to the Participants page is located at the top of each course, directly under the course name.

A list of Participants appears in alphabetical order.

Click on the name of each participant to view their general and detailed information.

On the the left side of this page, you can see User details including email, country and city/town, time zone, and CLB level, as well as Course details, which include a list of courses in which the user is enrolled.

On the right side of the page, you can view Miscellaneous details and Reports.

  • Today's logs - lists all course content the user has visited in the last 24 hours and includes related information, along with a bar graph.

  • All logs - lists all course content the user has visited since their account was created and includes related information, along with a bar graph.

  • Outline report - provides a general summary of the user’s activity in the course, sorted by topic or week in course order. It includes the resource/activity name, the number of times viewed, the last date viewed and elapsed time since viewing the item.

  • Complete report - is similar to the outline report but also includes detailed information about SCORM results, such as results for each activity, forum posts, etc.

  • Grades overview - displays a list of courses the participant is enrolled in and the grade they obtained for each course.
