The Avenue Class Register shows the following information:

  • the list of students in the class

  • the percentage of course activities (those with completion tracking enabled) that each student has completed

  • the number of artifacts available in the student's ePortfolio

  • each student's last login time

  • actions buttons

To view the Class Register:

1. Log into Avenue.ca.

2. Navigate to the My Courses page.

3. Each course thumbnail includes three buttons:

a. Enroll a new Student in the Course

b. View the Class Register

c. Go to course

Click on the View the Class Register button on the course card.

The Class Register pop-up appears.

Here you can view the list of learners enrolled in the class.

The Activity Completion column shows the percentage of course activities that each learner has completed.

Note: Only activities with completion settings will be counted toward this percentage.

Each graph provides a visual overview of a student's progress in the course.

In the Generated Artifacts column, you can see how many activities from this course were saved in each student's ePortfolio for each skill. Note that the squares are colour-coded from left to right as blue, red, green, orange, light grey and graphite, representing Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, About Me, and Other artifacts respectively. In the screenshot below, Eduardo has 1 Speaking and 1 Reading artifacts saved in his binder for this course.

The next column, Last Seen on Avenue, shows the approximate time the students last logged in to the course.

In the Actions column, there are two buttons for each student:

  • Edit Account Details - use this to edit a student's profile information (including email and password).

  • View Learner Progress Summary - opens a page showing that student's artifacts by skill, including each artifact's CLB level, competency area, and whether it was marked successful.

Note: More information on these two buttons is available in the following articles:
